free inventory slots
How much free space do you have in your inventory when you go PvEing? I usually like to keep a bit cons, and beer, with me when I go pveing. However I am capping at 20 free slots to pick up drops for. How many free inventory slots do you guys have, though? *Not counting equipment bags.

that would depend on the character as well as what area I am going to---prophecies has a tendency to have more drops than the others...with eye having the least amount of drops.
Most of my characters have at least 20 open spots (3 rolls in the backpack and the belt pouch) free--some also have part of a bag free as well (due to those extra equipment packs).... I usually always try to have an id kit, salvage as well as a summoning stone (and in higher areas lockpicks) on my characters, as well as different weapons and armor (each of my characters is responsible for carrying all their own armors).

Unfortunately not many at all. I got the extra free storage pane from the promotion, yet somehow I am always fighting for storage. All ten chars have heavy bags filled with armors, sup id kits, sup salvage kits, some cons, and weapons. All heros are used to hold weapons. I find that my war has the least amount (bout 3) due to having multiple axes, swords, hammers, shields, and a few additionals. So all in all I would say I'm lucky to have about 5 free spots on average.

i usually never bring anything with me besides lockpicks(occassionaly ill bring maybe a conset or DP removers or the like). that leaves 19 spaces in the backpack+belt pouch+2 bags+ a large equipment pack. So i always have lots of storadge me. w/e i need id'd or sold i can do when im done.
also p.s: your title sounds misleading. sounds like someone is giving away free storadge xD(for those of us that click on the threads from the home page xD) |

Usually 30-35 free inventory spaces, not counting the heavy pack. I don't bring any cons, just salvage and ID kits plus lockpicks.

I try to have 25-30 slots open for vanquishing or dungeons. Although if someone brings a merchant stone you can get by with 20.

I usually have around 30 on my main, depending on what weaponry I'm using/was too lazy to put in storage. I like to carry my books (I'll forget them otherwise), a few picks or keys, ID and salvage kits, summon stones, and DP removers/morale boosters. Along with my three sets of armor and too-many weapons :/
Oh, and my favorite mini. For when I'm lonely. |

Since my storage is always full, each of my chars has to carry something they don't need in a bag. My main doesn't but she's got 1 bag and a half filled with cons. Every char always has id and sup+norm salvage kits, books, and whatever is needed.
So I end up with usually a bag (or a half), the belt pouch and half backpack free only. It's rarely enough so I have to salvage most of the loot on my way, when necessary. I can never seem to have few enough permanently full slots, sigh. |

About 20 on my main chars. Belt Pouch has ID and Salvage kits, first bag has extra weapons/armor, second bag has more equipment as well as some random stuff like Imperial Commendations, Kournan Coins, etc. Equipment pack has equipment (obviously). There is usually a few free slots there as well.

Pretty random.. 0-30 slots I think. Sometimes I loot, sometimes I don't (except for goldies).

Just the main pack, I usually carry cons, picks, id/perf salv/salv kits, and extra armor +1 or 2 head pieces. Which pretty much takes up the room in my pouch and bags.

Atm i have Light Equipment Packs and Large Equipment Packs for my char's, wich r full with weapons and some armor.
All my char's have a Charr Bag that is full with more armor, Books and some mini's. The Belt Pouches on all my char's r full with keys and usefull consumables. That leaves the Backpack and an upgraded Bag for free slots. However, 3 of the 30 slots i use for an ID, Salvage and Expert Salvage Kit. So, that leaves usually 27 free slots for PvE'ing for me. |

I use a heavy pack and expanded bags. I always carry consets, one type of summoning stones, lockpicks, a minipet, and one each of Sup ID, Sup Salv, and Salv kits. I may also bring a personal buff like pumpkin pie depending on the character. If I'm in DoA, i usually carry each type of gem as well.
Weapon+armor changes are kept in the heavy pack. Everything else is kept in storage. (PvP character is a mule... convenient for storage, not so much so if I want to reroll). That leaves quite a bit of free space. I try to pick up everything not made of wood and cloth as I'm adventuring. (Cons are cheap when you don't have to buy iron, dust, and bone). |

One thing you can do to try to offload some of whats in the storage, is get some zaishen gold coins and go get yourself some larger equipment packs (The largest one is 15 gold zaishen coins and has 20 slots). They will only hold weapons and armor but hey if you dont have multiple sets of armor that could be extra space to put a few greens in at least and get them out of your sight for a while. Otherwise, if you wanna go the easier way.. build yourself a char you dont intend on actually using and create a "mule".. ie - a character that is nothing but extra storage to put stuff in. They arent meant for gameplay, just getting stuff out of the way. |

I usually have at least the backpack free, and the belt pouch too, unless I'm carrying consumables, or other specific items.
